Bug Base: Requirements

Since we do not want to commit any license conflicts with used third party products, we currently do not redestribute them. Please place all required third party products in this directory. The following JARs are required:

• Hypersonic SQL JDBC Driver if using Hypersonic SQL.
  tested versions: 1.60, 1.61 and 1.71
  unsupported versions: 1.4.3 and earlier.
• MySQL JDBC Driver if using MySQL.
  tested versions: 2.0.4 and 1.2c
• mail.jar
  tested versions: 1.2
• activation.jar
  tested versions: 1.0.1
• struts.jar
  tested versions: 1.0
  unsupported versions: all versions prior to the final version 1.0. Please do not use versions 1.0-b1 and 1.0b2!

The following JARs are optional:

• junit.jar. This jar is not required, unless the test suites are used.
  tested versions: 3.8.1
• cactus.jar: This jar is not required, unless the test suites are used.
  tested versions: 1.4.1. Please add all JARs distributed by cactus except for log4j-1.2.5.jar and junit-3.7.jar.
• log4j.jar: Bug Base contains a modified JUnit test runner using Log4j to write test protocols. The test runner may be used without Log4j. In this case, the logging is simply written to the console.
